Hello, I'm Godfrey, a native and certified English teacher from South Africa. I am passionate about helping others learn my language. I have completed a 120 hour TEFL course and I am proud to say that I am TEFL certified. I have been teaching English to any age group as a private tutor, which is my current job. My lessons are flexible, I adapt them to the student's needs and interests. I have experience giving conversational English lessons, general English lessons, lessons for beginners to advanced. I like to start my lessons asking the students to tell me what have they done the last few days or during the weekend and review the vocabulary learnt in the previous lesson. I develop activities for the students to practice new grammar or vocabulary, but always trying to create exercises that are useful for them and where they can practice different skills. I would share a video for their listening understanding and afterwards talk about the subject, or we would start a conversation after reading a text. Or for general English, I would introduce a topic in each lesson to learn new vocabulary and grammar with different activities. Could be reading, listening, role playing and other games or activities that I use for the students to practice. No matter what your level is, we will work together to help you reach your goal.
