今天這堂英文課真的超級有收穫,Edwin老師非常會抓住學生真正需要加強的地方。這堂課一開始就很清楚地聚焦在我的困難點和speaking,Edwin老師也幫我釐清My speaking is better than listening.這種很貼近我真實狀況的表達。對我來說,這種課非常有幫助,因為Edwin老師不是隨便聊天,而是直接針對我英文學習最卡住的地方來訓練。
我很喜歡Edwin老師會把我原本不自然或容易講錯的句子,一句一句整理成更正確、更自然的英文。像I only have the chance to speak English in the class.、I rarely go abroad.、Because it costs me a lot of money.這些句子,都是生活中真的會用到的表達。Edwin老師也會提醒像many money這種常見錯誤,幫我改成正確說法,讓我不只是知道單字,而是真的知道英文該怎麼說才自然。
這堂課也練到很多非常實用的口說內容,例如I’m crazy about...、How many countries have you travelled to so far?、I have been working here for 35 years.這些句子都很適合拿來聊興趣、旅行和工作經驗。Edwin老師會順著我的生活背景延伸,讓我可以把自己的真實經歷變成英文,而不是背一堆用不到的句子。這種教法真的非常有效,也讓我更敢開口。
另外,我也學到很多工作相關的實用表達,像I always get off work on time.、I never work overtime.、My job is not very challenging.
Today’s English class was extremely helpful. Edwin was very good at identifying exactly what I need to improve. From the beginning, the lesson clearly focused on my main difficulties: listening and speaking. Edwin also helped me express my real situation more naturally, such as “My speaking is better than my listening.” For me, this kind of lesson is very useful because Edwin was not just making casual conversation. The lesson directly targeted the areas where I get stuck the most in English.
I really like how Edwin corrected my unnatural or incorrect sentences one by one and turned them into more accurate and more natural English. Sentences like “I only have the chance to speak English in class,” “I rarely go abroad,” and “Because it costs me a lot of money” are all expressions I can truly use in daily life. Edwin also pointed out common mistakes, such as “many money,” and helped me understand the correct way to say it. This helped me learn not only vocabulary, but also how to speak English naturally.
We also practiced many practical speaking sentences, such as “I’m crazy about...,” “How many countries have you travelled to so far?” and “I have been working here for 35 years.” These are very useful for talking about hobbies, travel, and work experience. Edwin connected the lesson to my real life, so I could turn my own experiences into English instead of memorizing sentences that I may never use. This teaching style is very effective, and it made me more willing to speak.
I also learned many useful work-related expressions, such as “I always get off work on time,” “I never work overtime,” and “My job is not very challenging.” These sentences are very practical for everyday workplace conversations. Edwin explained everything carefully and patiently, helping me understand how to use the sentences instead of simply memorizing them. The class felt natural, solid, and full of speaking practice.
I sincerely, strongly, and wholeheartedly recommend Edwin. Edwin is highly professional, excellent at correcting mistakes, and very good at turning students’ scattered ideas into clear, practical English that can be used right away. Anyone who wants to improve listening, speaking, everyday English, work-related English, or make their sentences sound more natural should definitely take Edwin’s class. After one lesson, you can clearly feel your progress, and you will immediately want to book the next class.
课上先是交流了上节课观看的关于procrastinating的recap,Helen老师建议我多加一些停顿和重音,这节课跟读并模仿的视频中演讲者语气,学到了一些实际交流中会用到的短语,让对方继续说下去用keep on going 或者please go ahead,更有感染力用contagious或convincing,问对方是怎样发现某件事可以说How can you tell it,prefrontal cortex 是前额叶的意思
已經上了老師五堂課,老師依照我的需求規劃很多澳洲諺語、發音等的教材內容,有時候會透過遊戲互動分享雙方的想法、有時候會閱讀文章,覺得這樣交叉不同的教學體驗比較有趣、不無聊,也能夠很自然的方式來吸收這些單字、諺語,老師的發音也是我想學的澳式英語~推薦
I’ve had five lessons with Viktoria so far, and I’ve really enjoyed them. She plans the lessons based on my learning goals and prepares a variety of materials, including Australian expressions, idioms, and pronunciation practice.
Sometimes we share our thoughts through interactive games, while other lessons involve reading and discussing articles. I really like this mix of different teaching methods because it keeps the lessons interesting and engaging. It also helps me learn new vocabulary and expressions in a very natural way.

今天上了一個讓我覺得很妙的英文
show off(炫耀)
這次課程延續《Buying into the Culture》的內容。
