• I am the main teacher for two classes throughout the week. The first is a Grade 1 class and the second is Grade K class. • I must plan and deliver a lesson each day to both these classes. • Teaching all aspects of the English language, including: Grammar, Phonics, Spelling, Speaking, Reading, Science. • This is a position that has made me very versatile as an English teacher and has helped me to develop a new approach to teaching English because of the smaller class sizes than I am used to.

• I was the English class teacher for a Grade 1 and a Grade 2 class. As well as Grade 2 Phonics classes • I had to plan and deliver a separate English lesson for both my classes on each day of the week. • During this position I taught the Longmans: Welcome to English curriculum and textbooks. • As well as this I assigned class and homework, which I then marked and gave back to the students to correct and learn from. • I feel like this position elevated my ability to handle a large workload. I had to plan several classes each week, so I had to make sure that my schedule was well planned out and organised. This will help me in my future job roles.

• I worked in this position as an Oral English teacher for 1 year. I taught classes in Grade 1 and 2 classes, as well as the occasional Grade 3 and 6 classes. • I saw each of my classes once a week and planned, prepared, and delivered a new class each week. • I partook in many extra curriculum weekday and weekend events, as well as promotional activities for the school. This include performing in 2 different school performance evenings. • This position helped me develop my skills in teaching students aged 6 – 12 years old. It further helped to develop my teaching style.
