Hello there! My name is Melisa Phiri. I am originally from Zimbabwe but I'm currently studying medicine in Ukraine. I enjoy teaching the English language Online because it helps me connect with different people from different parts of the world and learn about their different cultures and interests. I really enjoy English as a language, as it is my first and most fluent language. I do speak 5 other African languages fluently but I speak English more than I speak any of the other languages. As I stated earlier, I am currently working on my Medical degree which I am set to finish in February of 2023 but I do hold a TEFL certificate. My classes are fun, interactive but at the same time you will learn a lot too. The classes will be based on YOUR needs and will definitely include conversation, listening and reading skills. As soon as you become my student, we will build a tutor-student relationship and most importantly we will build a friendship which makes it so much more easier to relate to each other. We will be working towards building your English competency and you can also teach me a thing or two about your culture and traditions! I do use supplementary materials outside the classroom such as Viber, WhatsApp and my personal email address for things such as questions and help with anything concerning the class. I prefer a video only policy because I believe your facial expressions and body language are a great indicator as to whether you understand what I am teaching or not
