The Danish movie I watched this time was "Flugt".This is an animated movie based on a true story, shot with a camera but depicted in animation, presumably to protect the individuals involved. It revolves around a man named Amin, a refugee from Afghanistan residing in Denmark. In order to survive, his family flees to Russia, with their ultimate goal being to reunite with Amin's older brother in Sweden. However, Russia proves to be a corrupt and violent place. To avoid being sent back to Afghanistan, they resort to trafficking themselves illegally. Their dire circumstances force them into situations like squeezing dozens of people into containers, storing them in warehouses without light, water, or toilets for extended periods. As a result, two of Yameen's sisters suffer severe psychological trauma, rendering them speechless for a long time. Another instance involves hiding refugees below the deck of a ship. Unfortunately, due to the vessel's old and leaking condition, the refugees have to bail out water to prevent sinking, but they are discovered and deported back to Russia by another ship. Eventually, due to financial constraints, only Amin manages to escape, bearing the burden of living with lies for survival. He ends up in Denmark instead of Sweden and, in his second life, is devoid of family or friends, living as a fleeing teenager. After many years, he finally gets the chance to tell his true story, which is eventually turned into a movie by his own friend.Watching movies helps me improve my sense of Danish :)!

Nijolaj is a very friendly and enthusiastic teacher, his classes are fun and it is nice to talk to him :) Since he is fluent in English it is easy to understand what he tries to explain me :)
